What are the steps to getting my real estate license?
You will be eligible to take the Texas real estate exam after meeting the following requirements:
- Successfully complete 180 hours of required education.
- Be a citizen of the United States or a lawfully admitted alien.
- Are 18 years of age or older.
- Are a legal resident of Texas.
What courses do I need to take?
The courses required to take the Texas real estate exam are:
- Real Estate Principles I and II (60 hours)
- Law of Agency (30 hours)
- Law of Contracts (30 hours)
- Promulgated Contract Forms (30 hours)
- Real Estate Finance (30 hours)
How long do I have to complete my courses?
You have one year to complete the courses from the time you register. But we suggest finishing the courses within a 90 day period in order to retain the information and be better prepared to take the real estate exam.

Students are eligible for a full tuition refund, less processing fees, within 3 days of purchase if the class has not been completed. We encourage students to begin their online courses promptly to ensure that the format will fit their learning style.
What is the online format?
Our text-based courses are available 24/7 through the internet. You can start and stop your studies when it fits your schedule. When you login to your materials, the system will automatically take you to the place where you left off. At the end of each chapter you will have a quiz to test your knowledge of the material. This ensures a higher probability of passing the Texas real estate exam on your first try.
